We have found very first Avatar movie trailer, which was made and aired in 2007. That time producerc planned to release movie in summer 2009, but later the date was moved to December. Nothing revealed in this trailer, but mysterious atmosphere presents:

James Cameron made an appearance at UBISOFT’s E3 press conference, talking about his upcoming film Avatar and the video game which has been developed alongside the movie.

It appears that that the film takes place in the 22nd century, on a large Earth-like moon called Pandora, with rain forests, 1000-foot tall trees, and many different types of critters.  He described the Na’vi as 10 feet tall and striped like tigers.

Avatar movie based game has been in development alongside of the movie for two and half years and is just now being unveiled. So, before we get an official trailer, poster, or even a photo, our very first look at the world of Avatar comes in the form of a video game. The first screenshots from the game have been released by Ubisoft and can be seen below.  So now we have an opportunity to create first imagination about Avatar world.

“It’s a serious film about serious issues, but it’s in 3D. And when you see it, you go — well, of course! This is so natural, this is the way it should be!,” said Weaver. “It’s so state of the art, it’s going to transform, at least, what people expect of the big movies.”

The Dish Rag’s intrepid Red Carpet Guerrilla caught up with acclaimed director James Cameron at the Australians in Film awards Friday night.

He talked about his groundbreaking new film, “Avatar,” the special effects and the risk of casting Aussie newcomer Sam Worthington, who also stars in “Terminator Salvation.”

Cameron was there to present the AIF Breakthrough Award — fittingly, a yellow boomerang — to Sam.

Later, he told the audience about the moment he decided to cast Sam.

“We were making a $200 million-plus movie and it’s all about the journey of one guy, Jake, and he’s in every scene in the film, from beginning to end. It all hangs on that one piece of casting.”

Cameron saw hundreds of actors, established and unknowns, but he needed someone who fit the role.

Then he saw Sam’s audition tape with a scene in which he has one line, “Uh huh.”

“Sam had me at ‘Uh huh,’ ” Cameron told the laughing audience.

“He’s an old-school tough guy, and that’s what I needed for this film,” Cameron said, adding that while he has seen only the trailer of “Terminator Salvation,” he’s sure that Sam is gonna “blow Christian Bale off the screen.”

Avatar Movie Summary:

In a distant future, humanity discovers the planet ‘Alpha Centauri B-4′, and for those scientists and astronauts who’ve traversed the gulf between neighboring suns and arrived on its alien soil know it as ‘Pandora’.
